Welcome to the high school division of Beverly Hills International School in Qatar, where academic excellence is coupled with innovation, community engagement, and student empowerment.
Our commitment to providing a rigorous yet enriching educational experience is reflected in our adherence to the Common Core Standards of California for English and Mathematics, alongside the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for our science curriculum. We are also committed to the ministry of education requirements, which is reflected in our mandatory Arabic language instruction for Arab students and compulsory Islamic studies for Islamic students. Students are required to meet these standards in order to earn their high school diploma.
In addition to academic excellence, we believe in the importance of students' engagement in society. Therefore, we require all high school students to participate in community service activities, fostering a sense of responsibility and compassion towards others. Furthermore, we encourage student involvement through our active student council, where student voices are heard and valued in shaping the school community.
We are excited to introduce our new approach to high school education, where students will have the opportunity to rotate between classes. This approach promotes interdisciplinary learning and allows students to explore a variety of subjects, helping them discover their passions and interests.
Furthermore, we are pleased to offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses and a range of elective courses to cater to students' diverse interests and aspirations. Whether it's exploring into a foreign language, arts, or diving deep into STEM subjects, our elective courses provide students with the opportunity to personalize their learning experience and pursue their passions.
